I ended up with 4 pairs of these shorts and for the most part I really like them. The big thing for me is having a back pocket these check the box with one big enough to hold my smartphone. Two very minor things that are annoying. First, for some reason, these have very short drawstrings. Weirdly, the gray pair I have are fine, but the blue, black and red drawstrings are really short (barely long enough to make a bowtie knot). Secondly, sizing is off. Normally I can do a large or extra large for shorts. Needed a 2xl for these. Once I got that size, the fit was great. Very comfy!
